Gowns For Days | Alvina Valenta “AV9102”

There are so many stunning gowns that have been designed and worn by beautiful brides – and every single one should be show cased and swooned over. With that, welcome to my “Gowns for Days” collection.

Every day I will feature a swoon worthy gown by a various designer. I hope this collection inspires you or helps you find the gown of your dreams.

Alvina Valenta, AV9102

DESIGNER: Alvina Valenta

DRESS: AV9102

DESCRIPTION: From jlmcouture.com | “Soft fluted bridal gown with an Alencon lace overlay. Strapless sweetheart neckline with detachable Ivory satin ribbon and jeweled floral belt detail at natural waist. Covered buttons and loops to end of sweep train.”

PAIR WITH: A tulle veil (un-edged or edged with matching lace), a bouquet full of peonies and the earrings of your choice.

PERFECT VENUE: Anywhere!

WHY I LOVE IT: Some lace looks like an exact replica of your great grandma’s tablecloth, but this Alvina Valenta gown is an exception. Luckily, a well-done lace gown can be suitable at any venue.  To top it off… the cut is perfect, it doesn’t hug anywhere it shouldn’t, it highlights the bride’s natural waist and the fit-and-flair trumpet isn’t too low or too high. The Alencon lace is slightly longer than the under layer of material giving the sweeping train a see-thru modern flair, which highlights the amazing edging. Personal preference, the thinner the sash the better.

OVERALL LOOK: traditional, classic, formal

GROOM’S ATTIRE: A classic black tux with a matching bow tie or a modern gray suit
