There are so many stunning gowns that have been designed and worn by beautiful brides – and every single one should be show cased and swooned over. With that, welcome to my “Gowns for Days” collection.
Every day I will feature a swoon worthy gown by a various designer. I hope this collection inspires you or helps you find the gown of your dreams.
Roses by Reem Acra, Laurel
DESIGNER: Reem Acra
DESCRIPTION: From Nordstrom.com ” Strands of opalescent sequins and beads embellishing the sheer sleeves of this frothy tulle ball gown offer full coverage with refined allure. A deft front knot gathers the fitted sweetheart-neckline bodice before diaphanous layers cascade into the dreamy folds of a sweeping A-line skirt.”
PAIR WITH: Any Veil! The sweeping, feminine skirt can be paired with a edge-less veil or bring a touch of sparkle to coordinate with the sleeves of this perfect gown. While you’re at it – borrow your mom’s pearl earrings and carry a handful of peonies to finish off your look.
PERFECT VENUE: A whimsical garden or a fresh white tent.
WHY I LOVE IT: She’s an oldie but a goodie. The Roses by Reem Acra collection is exclusive to the Nordstrom Wedding Suites. The sleeves are to die for – the fabric twists in the front and back give it some extra detail without adding any unnecessary gaudiness. I will say this gown is best suited for those with little boobies. Those well endowed may be squished and possibly offend a grandma or two.
OVERALL LOOK: feminine, whimsical, classy
GROOM’S ATTIRE: A light gray suit with complimentary light accents, or even a traditional black tux.
