Short Dresses & Tea

Short dresses are often worn to meet someone for tea; however, I hate tea – and frankly I don’t care for short wedding dresses either.

In the right venue, at the right time of a day, a short dress can be breath taking and perfect choice; although, in my opinion… Short dresses or mini wedding dresses (as I like to call them) are perfect for the milestone moments leading up to your wedding. They’re the cupcakes before the cake.

Who wouldn’t want to wear a once-in-a-lifetime short, glamourous white or ivory mini wedding dress to their bridal shower, bachelorette party, or rehearsal dinner?!

White is a color that you can’t always get away with wearing and honestly – you can’t overdress for your pre-wedding milestone moments. THEY ARE ALL ABOUT YOU, meaning YOU set the tone and dress code for the occasion.

Need some show-stopping mini dress options, well – ask no more!

Really going to tea? Having a southern brunch? or an upscale barbecue? Why not say YES to this simple Carolina Herrera dress (Fall 2014). It’ modesty can go from casual to glamour with the right accessories, but because of its 3D detailing, highlighted waist, and sheer straps you don’t have to accessorize at all!

Want to bring back the roaring 20s or have a Gatsby inspired bachelorette party?  Carolina Herrera dress (Fall 2014) does it again, and honestly how could you resist?! It’s sexy, fun, edgy and not too short.

A simple, sheer-lace neckline and an edgy statement bottom make this  Pronovias dress an easy to wear option while opening gifts, sipping a martini,  or holding a bouquet full of ribbons and bows.

Maybe your the glizty bride that fell in love with a simple and timeless gown, but you don’t want to lose your sparkle…  This wear-again dress by Pronovias can be a perfect pre or post wedding dress.

Classic, feminine, sexy, and chic – you can’t beat it. I can’t rave enough about Randi Rahm‘s “Sonia Cocktail” knee-length A-line dress – with a high neckline, pleated skirt, and peek-a-boo V-neck.

Although, if you’re going to go short and can’t bare the idea of a floor-length, traditional gown… MAKE A STATEMENT. Make sure your guests say wow! With a dress like this, from YolanCris

Tea, coffee, short or long, no matter your wedding day attire, a glass of red & a to-do list should get you through.

xo,

Korie
